Dr. Martine Laventure

Welcome! I’m a passionate social worker with over 14 years of experience dedicated to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving in diverse roles that have allowed me to support individuals, families, and communities in overcoming challenges and achieving their full potential. I earned my doctorate from Tulane University, where I cultivated the skills and knowledge that continue to guide my work today.

I began my journey as an administrator in nonprofit mental health housing programs, where I worked to provide stable and supportive environments for individuals in need. I’ve also had the honor of serving as a psychotherapist, guiding clients through their personal journeys toward healing and growth.

As a school social worker, I help students and families overcome challenges to thrive in school and life. I also advocate for homeless teens, connecting them with the support they need for a stable future.

Outside of my professional life, I’m a proud parent, of a teenager diagnosed with Autism. I’m deeply committed to changing the face of autism by promoting understanding, inclusion, and acceptance. My experiences have given me a unique perspective and drive to ensure that every individual on the spectrum can thrive.

Thank you for visiting my page—I’m excited to connect with you!
